If you have signed up to be a WEB Leader for next school year and have the yellow paper signed by your parents, please give it to your 1st block teacher. Ms. Swaggerty will be around to collect them this morning. If you forgot yours, please bring it tomorrow.
Also, tomorrow will be our Spring Play Day for WEB Leaders from 1:30-3PM. Activity buses will be available to take you home. Please try to stay. See Ms. Swaggerty, Ms. Galligan or Mrs. Borders if you have any questions!
• Basketball ~ There will be a Southeast High School Girls' Summer Skills & Drills Basketball Camp from June 7-10 for girls in grades 3-8 from 9AM-11AM. The cost is $40. For more information, contact Coach Sandi Devoe at Southeast High School.
Soccer ~ If you will be attending Lanphier High School in the fall and are interested in playing on the boys' soccer team, please contact Lanphier High School for an information packet.
• Volleyball ~ Any 6th or 7th grader interested in the UIS volleyball camp from June 27-29 should please see Coach Nicholas in room 215 for a registration sheet. You will receive a t-shirt for participating.
All students that were on basketball, volleyball, cheerleading, & track must turn in their locks by today.
Please remember to keep your locker clean. The last day that you will be allowed to use lockers will be Thursday, June 2nd.
Today at lunch, students with last names beginning with letters G-Z may get a book at the beginning of your lunch shift.
Also, anyone wanting any of the free books in the library lobby, please do so by June 1st. There will not be any available after that date.

Tryouts will be held on June 2nd.
Please wear a t-shirt, sweat pants, sneakers and socks. Any boy or girl who will be a JMS 6th, 7th or 8th grade student is welcome to tryout.

The deadline for YELLOW PEPSI caps has been extended. Please continue to bring in the caps!
Camp Nkiru will take place at Springfield High School on June 20-July 29 from 9AM-4PM. The purpose of Camp Nkiru is to provide community youth with new ideas and opportunities that will empower them to make positive and life affirming choices that will improve their lives, their families' lives, and their community. For more information and applications, please see Ms. Austin in the Guidance Office.
The 21st Century program will continue for the summer and will be based out of the Boys & Girls Club at 15th & Monroe. The program will run from 9AM-Noon Monday through Thursday until the end of July. See Mr. Reed or your guidance dean for more information or an application.
DRESS CODE REMINDERS
Please comply with the JMS dress code. NO cargo shorts or cargo capris may be worn. You may NOT pin your polo shirts. You may not have emblems on your polo shirt. You may not wear a non-polo shirt to school.
