Today will be an outside day. Please remember to clean up your eating area and push in your chair at your table. You will be asked to choose an outside activity. Do not go past the sidewalks. Once you reenter the building, use your inside voices because other students are in class.
Nachos with cheese will be sold at lunch on Thursday. You should go to lunch then come back to the main hallway to purchase your nachos. They cost $1.50.
• All 6th grade students need to have a physical in order to remain in school.
JMS SPIRIT SHIRTS
Spirit t-shirts are still being sold for $12 each. Get yours so you will be able to wear it on your grade's scheduled spirit day. NO JEANS! You must wear your uniform pants or shorts. Also, the t-shirts may not be altered in any way ~ for example, no cutting of the sleeves, neck or sides.
The JMS School Store is open! Come to the main lobby before school and purchase school supplies.
SNACK ATTACK STORE
The Snack Attack Store is in the main lobby for after school before you board the buses. Each snack will cost $1.
• Cheerleading ~ The cheerleading squad will be posted Wednesday. Thank you to all the girls who came to tryout!
• 6th Grade Girls Basketball ~ Practice today after school until 4PM.
Any students interested in Show Choir need to meet in room 122 from 2:30-4PM today. If you have already attended a meeting, you do not need to come again. First practice will be Wednesday after school from 2:30-4PM.
Attention all band students ~ The rehearsal schedule starts today. Brass meets from 8:30-9AM. Percussion meets from 9-9:30AM. Come to room 122.
We want students to be here every day! JMS needs to have at least 92% attendance everyday. We will have fun activities for those who attain a 95% attendance rate. Currently we have 238 students with perfect attendance! Keep up the good attendance!

MUSEUM TECH ACADEMY
The Museum Tech Academy is a free after-school program for students in 7th through 9th grade. Sessions begin September 23rd. There will be an Open House at the Museum's Research and Collections Center on 10 1/2 Street between Laurel and Ash Streets on Saturday, September 19th from 1-4PM.
