Braided Behavior Support Systems
The program has been designed to enhance student attendance and positive behavior at JMS. The program targets unexcused absences, tardies, grades, and referrals. A student must meet all of the criteria within the level in order to receive the rewards listed. Please click the link to watch the video!
At Jefferson Middle School we use PBIS, BIST, Restorative Practices, and Social/Emotional Learning as a braided approach to supporting students in order to create a positive school culture and a productive learning environment.
All of these efforts are combined into what District 186 calls the Braided Behavior Support System (BBSS), a comprehensive approach to supporting students so they can learn & excel.
