5 days ago Next Week, (Oct. 27-30) Laketown will be celebrating Red Ribbon Week. Each day next week, Tuesday - Friday, we will have a special theme for students to show their support in being 'Drug Free' during their Zoom lessons. You can see the theme for each day on the attached flyers. Oct 2, 2020 District 186 is providing support for families during Remote Learning. Please feel free to join in for these online trainings. Most of them are 30 minutes in length, followed by a 15 minute Q & A Session. There is limited capacity and they are available district-wide, so if you find interest in one of the four different sessions being offered 1x/week during October, please go ahead and get registered now. Aug 30, 2020 Once your child is registered to attend Laketown School, your child will be issued a Student iPad. If your child who is attending Laketown doesn't have their iPad yet, It is very important that you contact the school at 217-585-5819 to arrange a pick up time to come to the school and get your child's iPad. Every student will need the iPad to participate in teaching & learning EVERY DAY during Remote Learning. READ MORE
Jul 29, 2020 If you still have one of our school electronic devices that you need to turn in, you can turn it in at any of the "in-person" registration locations on Thursday, July 30th or on Friday, July 31st, from 12:00pm-4:00pm. These are the locations you can go to if you need to return a device and/or get "in-person" help with online registration: Franklin Middle School, Lanphier High School, Southeast High School or Springfield High School
Jul 29, 2020 If you have had any problems with registering online or still have some questions, the district is ready to help. On Thursday, July 30th and on Friday, July 31st, from 12:00pm-4:00pm, you can go to Franklin Middle School, Lanphier High School, Southeast High School or Springfield High School to get "in-person" help with registering any of your children who attend any of the District 186 Public Schools.
