The Lanphier High School Environmental Club is a student and teacher organization that raises awareness of environmental issues and produces students who are earth friendly. Recently, the Environmental Club reconstructed the 11th Street front garden. Students worked the grounds, planted a variety of different flowers, and laid mulch. Plans for the 2010-2011 school year include field trips to a "green roof," Southwind Park, and a tour of the EPA building. Watch for more of our green postings!
