-Interested in trying out for the #1 esports team in the state or casually joining the esports club? Overwatch, Rocket League, Super Smash Brothers, League of Legends, Fortnite, Valorant, and more are available. Stop by Mr. McGhiey's room, room 310, for information you need. Tryouts are next week and you must sign up for tryouts this week!

-The Student Government will be selling student parking permits beginning August 30th-September 7th in the small commons.  The price is $40 and you must provide proof of insurance. Students must either pick the Memorial Stadium Parking lot or the Converse parking lot. The teacher parking lot is not permitted.  Parking enforcement begins September 8th.  Violators will be towed at their own expense.  If you have any questions, please see Mr. Metzke in the Academic Office.

-The Superintendent’s Student Roundtable is now accepting applications for the 2021-22 school year. The group provides a forum for youth to strengthen unity between all local high schools, and the community. A link for applications can be found on the left hand side of the Lanphier High School website.  Returning members are asked to complete the form, also. The first meeting will be held on Wednesday, September 1.

-Now for a Moment of Silence.

-Please Rise for the Pledge of Allegiance.

"I pledge allegiance to the Flag of the United States of America, and to the Republic for which it stands, one Nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all."

-Now it’s time for today’s welcoming ritual: What is something that you hope to learn about this school year or a new skill that you hope to gain over the year? Please take a moment to discuss with your class.
