-Students - All  book bags and large purses MUST be put away in your locker 1st - 7th hours.  Do not bring them to class, lunch, or have them in the hallways throughout the school day. 

-October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, which is a time to celebrate survivorship and to honor and remember loved ones. In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, LHS would like to invite everyone attending tonight’s homecoming game to wear pink apparel as a sign of solidarity with those who have and/or are currently battling the disease. 

-Our Lady Lions Volleyball team will be having their Senior Night and Pink Out night on Oct 19th starting at 5:30pm. Please come out and show your support for the Lady Lions Seniors and wear some type of Pink for awareness!!! 

-Black Student Union (or BSU for short) is a student group composed of people who share a love for Black culture. Our goal is to create a space to celebrate Black culture while teaching others about diversity by engaging in activities focused on belonging, empowerment, and voice. Our first meeting will be held on Thursday, October 21, after school in room 245. If you have any questions about BSU, please speak to Mr. Jackson in room 245. 

-Tickets for the 2021 Homecoming Dance will be sold at lunch today ONLY.  There will be NO TICKETS sold at the door.  If you have not yet bought your tickets and you do not buy your tickets at lunch today, you will not be able to attend the dance. Tickets are $15 each.  Only LHS students are able to attend the dance.  Appropriate formal attire is required, and masks must be worn at all times.  The dance will be held in the commons and cafeteria.  Students will enter the building using the “NORTH B” entrance.  Students who are excluded from school due to Covid protocol will not be allowed to enter.

-Attention!! There has been a CHANGE to when the 2021 Homecoming court will be announced.  In order to allow families to be present, the LHS 2021 Homecoming Court will be presented and the King and Queen will be announced AT THE FOOTBALL GAME TONIGHT @ Half-time.  Please join us at the game tonight to see who our 2021 Homecoming King and Queen will be!!  And GOOOOO LIONS!!!!!
