-Please Rise for the Pledge of Allegiance.

"I pledge allegiance to the Flag of the United States of America, and to the Republic for which it stands, one Nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all."

-Now it’s time for today’s welcoming ritual: Yesterday we honored Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.  Here is another one of his quotes: “Darkness cannot drive out darkness, only light can do that.  Hate cannot drive out hate.  Only love can do that.” When you hear this quote, what is one thing that comes to mind? What do you think he means?
