-Black Student Union (or BSU for short) is a student group composed of people who share a love for Black culture. Our goal is to create a space to celebrate Black culture while teaching others about diversity by engaging in activities focused on belonging, empowerment, and voice. Our first meeting will be held on Thursday, October 21, after school in room 245. If you have any questions about BSU, please speak to Mr. Jackson in room 245.

9th graders - dress like toddlers
10th graders - dress like college students
11th graders — dress like parents
12th graders — dress like senior citizens
Thursday, October 14 — Throwback Thursday - Dress like you’re from your favorite decade
Friday, October 15 — Orange and Black Day
Dress code rules still apply.

-ATTENTION SENIORS!! We will have our first class meeting on Thursday, Oct. 14 during 1st and 2nd hour. We will discuss a lot of important information including information about graduation caps and gowns. Please go to your 1st hour and you will be dismissed by announcements.
-Tickets for the 2021 Homecoming Dance will be sold this week on Thursday and Friday ONLY during Lunch. Tickets are $15 each. Only LHS students are able to attend the dance. Appropriate formal attire is required, and masks must be worn at all times. The dance will be held in the commons and cafeteria. Students will enter the building using the “NORTH B” entrance. Students who are excluded from school due to Covid protocol will not be allowed to enter.
-Attention!! There has been a CHANGE to when the 2021 Homecoming court will be announced. In order to allow families to be present, the LHS 2021 Homecoming Court will be presented and the King and Queen will be announced AT THE FOOTBALL GAME on Friday, Oct. 15 at halftime. Please join us at the game Friday night to see who our 2021 Homecoming King and Queen will be!! And GOOOOO LIONS!!!!!
