May 9, 2022

-Today’s theme in our countdown to the end of the year is: C is for College! Sport your college gear! Tomorrow’s theme is D is for Disney! Wear anything related to Disney! Take some time to relax & watch your favorite Disney movie at home! Don’t forget, if you participate take a picture and please drop them on our Lanphier connects page or email them to Mrs. Pochynok! They may show up on those new screens in the Commons and maybe there will even be a prize or two!

-Are you interested in playing volleyball next year? Open gym will start on May 16 at 5:00pm.  This information is also posted on our social media pages.

-Attention Seniors:  Please check the list posted outside of the main office.  If you are on this list, you are receiving some recognition or award at the Senior Awards Ceremony on May 17.  If you are on this list, remember you must wear your cap and gown to the ceremony on May 17, as you will be part of the ceremony.  Remember that ALL members of the senior class and their families are invited to attend this event.  See Mrs. Anderson, Mr. Caton, or Mrs. Davis with questions.

-Have you been referral free this year and have had 10 or less absences? Then you will be joining us for the end of year movie and snacks reward on Friday, May 20th during 6th & 7th hours in the large commons! There is a list of who currently qualifies outside of both the Main Office and Room 213.  We will be checking the list again on May 16th and updating it, so make sure you maintain this status! We are proud of this huge accomplishment! Keep up the great work!

-We are continuing some Teacher Appreciation Week shouts outs, here are our staff “words of thanks” for today:

-To Mr. Kinder: He has been one of the teachers I've stuck with the past 3 years now. I've talked with him every day and he just always has something new to say, I'm always along for the ride and the conversations. He treats me like an adult and that's what makes me respect him a lot. He is laid back, respectful, and all around just a good guy.

-To Mr. Allen: Mr. Allen is by far one of the best and most fun math teachers I've had. I had doubts about passing geometry this year, but somehow I'm passing it with no problems. Your way of teaching is very  helpful to me and everyone else.

-Mr. Hodapp: Thank you for being such a great teacher. I never have a day in your class where I don't laugh or enjoy my time there. You always help us when we need it and you joke around with us as well. Thank you!!!!

-Mr. Goldstein: Thank you for being so considerate and compassionate. You truly are the best! I feel so welcomed and comfortable in your class and although I despise CNN 10, I still had so much fun in your class. I hope next year I will have you for a teacher!

-Please Rise for the Pledge of Allegiance.

"I pledge allegiance to the Flag of the United States of America, and to the Republic for which it stands, one Nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all."
