Daily Checklist for Remote Learning

Hey Students! Here's a checklist that may be helpful for you while remote learning to keep you on track and to help you be successful during your time while learning from home. 

Dear LHS Families

Dear Lanphier High School Families, 

Welcome to Lanphier High School! Of course we miss being with students in person, but we look forward to seeing them in our virtual classrooms and are excited to begin this school year.

Chromebook and textbook pick up day will be August 21, 24 and 25.  The schedule, by grade and alphabet, is below.  This schedule is also on the LHS web site. Students will not receive their class schedule if they have not returned their LHS chromebook and charger from last year or this summer. 

Please encourage your student to pick up a device if necessary, as phones are discouraged for Zooming and for turning in assignments.  Even if students don’t need a device, they should come to the building on their assigned day and time to get their class schedule and textbooks.

I encourage you to visit the LHS website for the Superintendent’s Plan and for information specific to remote learning.

Please make every effort to utilize the District’s intranet infosystem by visiting your student’s online folder, which will display grades, attendance and gives you the option to email teachers directly.  If you do not have access and need a parental user name and password with instructions, please call the guidance office at 525-3073.  Please regularly check our LHS web site for announcements and specifics. 

Monday, August 31st is the first student day. Students are not scheduled to be logged into class that day, however, students should log into Canvas and the District infosystem and check their student email accounts. Please email the appropriate grade level guidance administrator if your student needs password or email information. On Tuesday, September 1st all LHS students should follow their online schedule.

The west gym doors open at 8:15 a.m.
Visitors: please use door marked LHS SOUTH MAIN off the south parking lot.

Behind the Wheel-Driver's Ed

Parents: After your student has completed classroom driver's ed, School District 186 charges a $100 fee for Behind the Wheel which must be paid when your student is scheduled to begin. Checks should be issued to Lanphier High School.
