Members of the Paranormal Club volunteered for a community service project on Saturday September 9th. The students helped with a cleanup of the historic Henry Wohlgemuth Mansion located on the corner of 8th St. and Cook, near the Lincoln Home National Historic Site. The owner plans to turn the facility into a learning facility for disadvantaged kids through the Heritage Foundation. There was also a big turnout for the second meeting held on September 19th. Students designed the new shirt for the upcoming year, discussed paranormal experiences they have had, and saw some video and evp evidence captured by Mr. Roberts group, Capital Area Paranormal Society ( CAPS) www.capsinvestigations.com. New members are always welcome. The next meeting is scheduled for October 6, and students will then begin investigating locations such as the Virgil Hickox House in Springfield and the R Theater in Auburn. Guest speakers will also be presenting during many of the meetings.
