Because of participation in Digital Learning Day on Wednesday, February 1, 2012, Lawrence Education Center's classrooms now have access to the USA Today e-Edition. The USA TODAY e-Edition combines the best of both worlds: a robust, user-friendly platform featuring the speed of the Internet and the organization of a newspaper. This can help students to develop higher-order thinking skills such as analysis and synthesis in order to arrive at new solutions. Current “real world” information reinforces concepts and motivates students to learn.
The instructors will receive a weekly newsletter providing additional news-related activities, information on grant opportunities and access to new lessons and classroom resources.
Ask Michele Romence for login information, then click
