Lawrence Education Center was part of the pumpkin carving team for the Jack-O-Lantern Spectacular to be held at Washington Park on October 17th and 18th.. Students had the opportunity to put their artistic talents to use. Each pumpkin was required to be thoroughly scraped of pumpkin guts, the lid cut at an angle to keep the top from falling in, and to have lots of fun creating the carving. Students met all the necessary requirements and created some wonderful Jack-O-Lanterns. They gave back to the community by creating carved pumpkins for the event and had enjoyed every minute of it!
