On February 10th, 2010, Stephanie Brake, Admission Counselor from Robert Morris University presented, “Blast Off to Your Future.”
The students reviewed Career Clusters. A quiz was given to obtain student interest and their abilities to determine a specific career. The career choices were then reviewed for length of education required.
Students were shown the average yearly salary for high school educated individual up through a doctorate degree education. Also, reviewed was the top ten highest paying careers. Eight of the careers are in the medical field. Airline pilots are also in the top ten and do not require a bachelors degree.
The average time to earn a bachelors degree is 6.2 years. This is due to students changing their major approximately three times during their enrollment.
