Red Ribbon Week!

October 23, 2011

During this week, Lincoln Magnet School students will be celebrating living drug-free lives.

This week, October 24th to 28th, we will celebrate Red Ribbon Week as students commit to living a healthy, drug-free life. Red Ribbon Week is celebrated across the nation with the purpose of combating drug and alcohol use amongst youth. Lincoln Magnet Students are all about making healthy choices as an alternative to using drugs and alcohol. Please help us to celebrate a drug free life by encouraging your child to participate in Red Ribbon Week activities.

Monday: Red Ribbon Kickoff Day. Students will learn about the weeks activities as they commit to staying drug free!

Tuesday: Team Day! LMS students “team up” against drugs and alcohol! Students are asked to wear their favorite sports team clothing or colors.

Wednesday: School Spirit Day! LMS is proud to be drug free and healthy! Wear your spirit wear to school.

Thursday: Red Sock day. LMS Students know how to SOCK IT TO DRUGS and make healthy choices!

Friday: Fitness Friday! We choose fitness over drugs and alcohol! Students can wear their favorite active wear. This includes warm-up pants and jackets, sweatpants, sweatshirts, headbands, and sweatbands.

Thank you for helping us to make Red Ribbon Week a success!
