Lincoln Magnet School students will engage in an assembly hosted by Natalia Berhow from ‘Free The Children. We are excited about this new Partnership’ and being able to give our students the opportunity to create action plans for future projects both locally and globally.
The students have been inspired to make a commitment to learn about preserving vital resources and ensuring a safe and healthy planet for years. Challenge based learning opportunities such as these help us develop creators rather than receivers of information and students become responsible for their education. The projects connect students’ interests with real-world global learning influences and prepare them to be agents of change.
We are thrilled to have Free The Children Youth in Action Summit 2014 join us in our pursuit in becoming global citizens.
