Good morning! Today is the first day of October and it is an A Day for everyone!
Sixth Grade students and students new to Springfield schools need a current physical and immunizations on file in the school office. Complete health information must be received by October 15, 2009 or your child will be excluded from school. In addition to a physical and immunizations, Sixth Grade students need a dental exam. Call Lincoln at 525-3236 for questions or assistance.
Brown Street Offers Saturday Tutoring:
Brown Street Church, 1701 E. Brown, offers free tutoring for students of all ages on Saturdays from 11 a.m. to 1:15 p.m. For more information, please call Ms. Shirley Miller at 753-2030. Families must arrange their own transportation.
IMEA audition money and permission slips must be turned in today. String players in the youth symphony may also participate. Check with Mrs. Lerch if you need a form.
Sixth grade boys’ basketball tryouts continue tonight at Ball Charter from 4-6:00p.m.
If students are interested in playing sports this year, they need to have a physical and athletic card on file before they will be allowed to practice. Boys Basketball and cheerleading is right around the corner. If you are unsure about having a physical or athletic card turned in please see Mrs. Erickson before school, at lunch or after school.
