Daily Announcements-Friday

September 3, 2009

Good morning! Today is Friday, September 4th, and it is a B Day for everyone!

Yesterday was an exciting day as 7th and 8th graders participated in computer roll out. Today the 6th graders will participate! During computer roll out students learn how to log on to their computer (using a password given to them), and how a few of the applications work. They also cover proper usage and handling of the computers. Students do keep the computers at school. We will keep you posted on when they will be allowed to take them home.

Seventh and eighth grade girls’ open gym/tryouts continue tonight from 6:00-7:30 and Saturday from 10:00-12:00 at Ball Charter. Good luck ladies!

Girls on Track will start next week on Tuesday, September 8th from 2:40-3:50. You will be able to ride the activity bus home. We would love all 7th and 8th grade students that were in Girls on Track to wear their shirts on Tuesday to kick off the new season!

SHG is hosting a cheer camp on Saturday, September 26th. Yellow flyers are on the activity table located in the main hallway if you are interested.

If you are applying to IMSA, today is the last day to get your application turned in.

Eighth grade intramurals are today after school. The activity buses will run if you plan to stay and need a ride home.

Good luck to our boys’ baseball team as they face Little Flower at Southeast at 4:30.

Please make sure you are using a drawstring bag if you need to carry a bag from class to class. Starting Tuesday, September 8th we will enforce this rule. That should give you plenty of time to invest in one.
