Today is Tuesday, October 23, 2007, and it is an A day.
Report cards will be given out at parent conferences on Thursday and Friday. If you do not come in for a conference, reports will be mailed on Friday.
Parent/Teacher Conferences will be held on Thursday from 4:00-8:00 p.m., and 8:00-3:00 on Friday. You must have an appointment for your conference! We only have a few openings left, so call 525-3236 by Wednesday at noon for an appointment.
Our Fall Festival Dance is coming up soon! Next Friday, October 26th, from 6:30-8:00 at LMS, we will have fun! Students may wear costumes, or dress in school-appropriate clothing. We usually have a mix of both. There is no costume contest. Students wear them just for fun! There will be a DJ, and special activities from the Pizza Machine, as well as free refreshments. Cost is $5.00 at the door. Many students earned their ticket from the fundraiser, and will receive them next week. We are asking for donations of 2 liter bottles of soda for the evening, if you wish to contribute!
Many of you have admired our special spirit wear from Eye Candy by Brandy. She will have fliers during Parent Teacher conferences, and will also be available during the dance. She will bring samples during the dance from 6:00-7:00. A portion of the proceeds will go to benefit LMS, and wearing the sparkley creations will make everyone happy! They make great presents as well.
Here's an opportunity to send your friend, a teacher, or just about anyone a special treat. You can purchase a boo bag filled with goodies and a special message from you for only $2.00 and they will be delivered to the 6th hour classes on Wednesday, October 31st. Send one to yourself to give to a family member or friend at home!
Boo bags will be sold before and after school beginning Tuesday and will also be sold during the dance.
The much anticipated Leopard Link newspaper will be on sale and delivered during 5th hour classes on Wednesday, October 24th. We are asking for a donation of 25 cents per paper. All proceeds will benefit the United Way.
This week is Red Ribbon Week. We will have activities each day to remind students to choose a healthy, drug-free future. The week will culminate in our Fall Festival Dance on Friday, October 26th. All money collected will go to the United Way.
