Black History Month was a celebration of rich black history for LMS students. A variety of activities were available and enjoyed, including a presentation by storyteller Bobby Norfolk, historic profiles of famous black Americans read by LMS students on the morning announcements, and a gallery walk of black and white photos taken by the father of Beverly Helm Renfro. Jim Helm, Sr. was a well known photographer for several Illinois governors. All activities were informative and enjoyable!
