Dear Parents/Guardians:
Each year at this time, the opportunity for Parent/Teacher Conferences is provided. These early conferences are intended as a time for both parents and teachers to share information about their student. This experience allows for the school and home to establish a cooperative working relationship on behalf of students. Our district is committed to building partnerships between home and school.
This year October 30th will be used as a full day for Parent/Teacher Conferences. Additionally, each school will hold conferences on October 29th from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
Teachers will be in teams of two: Math/Science and Social Studies/Language Arts. You will have 15 minutes with a team of two teachers. Please indicate which team you would prefer to meet with when you RSVP. Each team will share notes from the other two grade level teachers. Encore teachers will also be available for individual conferences.
Each school strives to have one hundred percent participation from their parents. Please make every effort to attend your child’s conference.
Please call the office at 525-3236 between October 20th - 27th to set up your appointment.
In addition, Lincoln Magnet School will also be offering parent workshop sessions focusing on Parent Communication using the student cumulative folders and new notification features via text and/or email. Please visit our website for more details. Please RSVP by October 27th.
