Good morning! Today is Wednesday, January 20, and it is an A Day for everyone.

7th & 8th grade basketball players may stay after school to catch the bus to Chatham. The bus leaves at 4:30 p.m. If you do go home after school, please be back on time.

Help us make a Slam Dunk for the Community by joining in the City Tournament Spirt of Giving.
LMS students will be collecting canned and boxed food as well as monetary donations Tuesday - Thursday. All of the canned food and monetary donations will be collected for St. Martin de Porres. We will also participate in a spirit activities to support this great cause!

Wednesday - Decade Day - Dress in your favorite decade.
Thursday - Favorite TV Character - Be Creative!
The class with the most "Slam Dunks" (recognition for every 5 cans/boxes of food donated and/or every dollar donated) will earn a mystery celebration!
Proceeds from our Pizza day (Thursday) will also be donated to St. Martin de Porres. Pre-order your pizza Tuesday and Wednesday! $2.00 a slice.

The 7th Grade Boys Basketball Team will open regional play on Saturday, January 23 @ Washington Middle School. The Leopards will play Jacksonville Turner @ 11:30 a.m. Since this game is in town there will be no bus to the game.

The Springfield High School Scarlet Line Dance Team is sponsoring a Jr. Senators Dance Camp on Friday, January 29. Applications are available on the activity table in the main hallway.

Yearbooks are $30. Please bring your order form to the main office.

Track season is fast approaching. If you are interested in participating in track, please make sure that you have a physical that is up to date and on file with Mr. Hampsey.
