Good Morning! Today is Monday October 21st, and it is an A Day for everyone!!

The Illinois School Safety Drill Act requires school curriculum to include instruction and participation in various security drills in order to reinforce safety procedures for Lincoln Magnet School staff and students. One of the security measures is called a “ Lock Down”.  

Today, we conducted a practice Hard Lock Down Drill. The students did a great job and our school is well prepared.

United Way: Our United way kick off starts today! We have a lot of fun and engaging activities scheduled and would love for all leopards to participate!! You can read about all the specific details under our Daily Announcements Tab.

7th/8th Boys Basketball Tryouts: Today and Tuesday are closed tryouts for our 7th & 8th grade boys. Please note under events that they are at different times, but same location. Roster for those who made both teams will be posted by 10:00pm on Tuesday, October 22nd. Remember that sports physicals are needed as soon as possible. 

Fall Dance: Our annual fun, spooktacular Fall Dance will be on Friday, October 25, 2019 @6:30pm. Get your costumes ready and come for the pizza, snacks, and drinks sponsored by our wonderful PTO! We do not do tickets ahead of time, so all students will pay $5.00 at the door.

Activity Table: Just a reminder that the activity table is located in the main hall outside of Room 111. On there you will find flyers for various events, groups, and/or meetings throughout the community. Here at LMS, we do not send home Wednesday folders, but such information can be found on our activity table.
