Good Morning! Today is Tuesday, January 7th and it is an A Day for everyone!! 

The Young Americans are coming to Springfield! This three day performing workshop offers students the chance to sing and dance and put on an awesome concert! The dates are January 19th-21st and it will be held at Southeast High School. For more information and to register, go to Mr. Russell’s website!

VOLLEYBALL Final Call: Please submit all spirit wear orders by tomorrow so that we can get those sent over to the printing company. If you need a new form they can be found on the activity table. Also, please make sure that all paperwork is turned into Mrs. Lott's office this week- physicals, athletic cards, and fees.

Yearbook: Now is the time to order your 2019-2020 commemorative yearbook! Yearbook order forms are on the activity table. Please submit them in by January 17th at the pre-order price. 

Scholastic Bowl: Scholastic Bowl will begin meeting on Monday's after school, as well as Fridays. Students who are on the team will be given study sheets of various topics each Friday to spend as much time as possible learning the material. Our returning coach this year is John Martinic and we are happy to have him, as well as help from Ms. Holcomb and Mrs. Theilen. If you have any questions thus far, please let Mrs. Lott know. 

Basketball & Cheer Sports Pictures: We will take team and individual, if so desired, sports pictures for boys basketball teams and cheerleading on Monday, January 13th before the start of the game. Order forms will be sent home next week. Everyone should bring everything with them to school as normal, because we will begin at Ball Charter at 3:00pm. 

High School Updates: Reminder that tomorrow night is our district wide 9th grade Preview Night! Preview night begins at 6:00pm at all three District 186 high schools. Preview night is an opportunity for eighth grade students to visit the high school they will attend next year. Students and parents will learn about graduation requirements and the courses that are available for freshmen. See Mrs. Sevener with questions.
