Good Morning! Today is Friday, February 21st and it is a B Day for everyone!! 

Happy Birthday Shout out over the weekend to Carter H., Logan P., Isabella H. and Mr. Cleveland!!

8th Decatur Volleyball Tournament: This Saturday, our 8th grade girls will travel to Decatur's Holy Family Volleyball Tournament at the Holy Family Gym, 2400 S. Franklin St., Decatur, IL 62521. Extended information can be found under daily announcements in a separate tab.

CELL PHONES: A friendly reminder that cell phones are to be put away once a student enters the building in the morning, whether you are going to breakfast or the gym during our cold inside mornings, cellular devices should not be seen or heard by adult staff members. This school rule has been established since the beginning of the school year and will continue to be enforced. This information will be posted to our website for future reference, as well as in an automated parent link to all families.

LIVING LIT CAST and BANNER: Living Literature Cast and Banner will meet today after school. 

HOCKEY anyone? If you love hockey and love hearing our choir sing, come on out on Sunday, Feb. 23rd to the Springfield Jr. Blues hockey game beginning at 4:00pm. Choir students need to be at the Nelson Center by 3:15pm. Any questions, see Mr. Russell.

BAND & CHOIR: Please try and get your order forms returned with payment by Feb. 24th or earlier so that we will have them back in time for the St. Patricks Day Parade. All pricing is listed on the order form. Students are allowed to wear any items purchased during the school day as well. 

Health & Science Academy: Any 8th grader wishing to apply and possibly enroll into the Health & Science Academy located at Southeast High School should see Mrs. Sevener for an application. You do not have to live within SE boundaries to be accepted into the program. All applications are due next Friday, February 28th.
