Title: State Board Testing Information for Remote Students
Dear District 186 Families of Remote Learners,
The Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE) has directed all school districts to begin planning to administer state assessments to all students in the state of Illinois.
Please complete this Google survey to indicate whether or not you plan to allow your child to come into a school or district building to take the Illinois Assessment of Readiness (IAR) for grades 3 - 8 and the Illinois Science Assessment (ISA) for grades 5 - 8. The possible dates of testing include the week of April 26 and Mondays in April and May.
If your student will test, please indicate the mode of transportation that will be used. If you permit your child to participate, you will be advised as to the location at which your child will take their state assessments. Possible locations include your child's home school (for students needing transportation), current school of attendance, or a district building (in the event there is not ample space at a school location).
If you have any questions regarding state testing, please contact your child’s principal. Sincerely,
Dr. Nicole Nash Moody
