October 9, 2019

Good morning Southeast Students and Staff, today is Wednesday, October 9th

Remember that successful Spartans ARE PRODUCTIVE, they participate in class, they complete work, and they submit work.

And now a moment of silence to start the day!  (WAIT 10 seconds before moving on)

Thank you

“Good morning, this is your Wellness Wakeup Call!”

It is important to eat at least 3 vegetables every day. Look for vegetables in the cafeteria, in your kitchen at home, and at restaurants.

“Enjoy your day, the healthy way!”

Hey Southeast  Did you know that we are partnering with Project Mack and the other area High Schools to host the 2nd annual Trunk or Treat Event on Sunday October 27th?  Did you know that last year we passed out candy to HUNDREDS of area children?   Did you know that you could win prizes for best-decorated car? Did you know we are also collecting gently worn shoes to donate to local school children?  We would like to challenge you to create a team and sign up outside room 218!!!!   Help make this event another wonderful one for our community!

Today in the college room, we have representatives from Bradley and Greenville - also coming soon to the college room are UIS (university of Illinois at Springfield), Lincoln Land Community College, Rockford, Mizzou, Illinois College, and MacMurray. Sign up in the college room. Thursday is the campus visit to Eastern Illinois University. November 1st is the campus visit to Lincoln College in Illinois. Seniors, keep working on your FAFSA!

Now if you would, please stand for the Pledge of Allegiance

I pledge allegiance to the flag

of the United States of America,

and to the republic for which it stands,

one nation under God, indivisible,

with liberty and justice for all.

Thank you Spartans and have a great day.
