On April 23rd, the Southeast Life Skills program attended the educational program at Clayville Historic Sites in Pleasant Plains. Here the students learned about the history of the Broadwell and Irwin Families. The students participated in activities from the early 1800s. They learned about churning butter, grinding corn, bartering for items they needed, making candles and games for children in the 1800s. The staff at Clayville made this trip enjoyable for all the students.
