Murdix scored a game-high 21 points to lead Southeast High School past Jacksonville 54-51 in a Central State Eight Conference game Friday at The Bowl. Spartan Boys' Basketball Team Win Shootout Game at PCCC

Dec 4, 2016 Southeast and Eisenhower went blow for blow down the stretch before the Spartans strung together back to back scoring possessions in the final 90 seconds for a 51-47 win over the Panthers at Saturday’s CS8 Showcase at the PCCC. Southeast’s Trevyon Williams led all scorers with 14 points while adding eight rebounds and three assists. Spartans sophomore Anthony Fairlee finished with 13 points and 14 rebounds. Spartan Boys' Basketball Team Freeze Cyclone Shooters Out!

Dec 14, 2013 Southeast Spartans won its third straight game with a 53-46 win against SHG. The Spartans connected on 36.6% of their shots. Freshman Trevyon Williams led the Spartans with 15 points and was 9 for 14 from the charity line. Jalen Henry had 13 points and 15 rebounds. Fantastic job Spartans!

Sports Radio 1450 Shootout: SE Beats Rock Island

Dec 8, 2013 Southeast Trevyon Williams, freshman, helped the varsity team post a 73-62 victory over Rock Island in the fifth game at the Prairie Capital Convention Center. Williams scored 14 points in the 4th quarter and 23 points total to lead the Spartans. Williams went 12 for 14 from the free throw line, including 8 for 8 in the final period. Williams commented, "I'm used to it (going to the hole) because I've always been the little person. I've always played against the big kids. READ MORE

Southeast Boys' Basketball Win at Springfield High

Dec 7, 2013 With the Senators leading 17-13 at the end of the first quarter, the defense adjusted their defense to come back strong. When the second quarter began, Jalen Henry got the ball inside, hit the layup, drew a foul and made a free throw. The Spartans took the lead on the next possession when Hughes drilled a 3-pointer. By half time, the Spartans were up 35-27, four the the final six points came from offensive rebounds. Southeast made an 18-2 run in the third to win 58-35.

Southeast Boys' Basketball Team Soy Decatur Tourney Results

Nov 30, 2013 Decatur Team Soy Capital Tourney Results Game #1 Southeast defeats Peoria Central 68-53 in the first round of the Decatur Team Soy Capital Tournament. Senior forward Jalen Henry scored 26 points and grabbed 16 rebounds to lead the Spartans. D’Angelo Hughes added 21, shooting 5-7 at the 3-point range. The Spartans also had 9 turnovers. The Spartans are 1-0. Game #2 Southeast falls to Bolingbrook, 70-76, after leading 40-31 at half time. READ MORE
