SENIORS: Are you interested in becoming a pharmacy technician? Lincoln Land Community College's Capital City Training Center is offering a program August 8-December 14 to train for Professional Pharmacy Technician. See Mrs. Povse for information sheet.
The Illinois State Board of Education is accepting applications for the Student Advisory Council for the 2011-2012 school year. There are 10 openings on the 15-member council. Any Illinois public school student who will be a sophomore, junior or senior is eligible to apply. An application is available online at http://www.isbe.net/SAC/default.htm It must be returned to the State Board of Education by 4 p.m. on Friday, May 27, 2011. See Mrs. Stahly with questions
Paid for Yearbooks may be picked up in Mrs. Barkmeier’s room, room 370 before and after school. Also, anyone wishing to purchase a yearbook may do so today before or after school in room 370 for $60.
A pair of glasses was found at Prom. Check in the Main office if you lost one of these items.
There is a silent art auction outside the main office ending this evening after the Senior Recognition Ceremony. Bids can be placed by anyone interested in owning these local and regional award-winning pieces. The proceeds will be split equally between the artist and the art department. Your support is very much appreciated!
All Boys track team members who are not competing at this Friday's sectional meet need to come to a short practice on Thursday to return uniforms, pick up your banquet form and help put up equipment at the track.

Anyone interested in Cross Country next fall there will be an informational meeting, Monday, May 23 after school in the commons. If you are in a Spring sport and cannot make meeting see Coach Devlin. The meeting will last 5 minutes.
Students who qualified for the Be A Senator acknowledgement today must leave through the Southeast door immediately following the 11:07 bell, turn in the permission slip that has been signed by a parent or guardian to Miss Davis at the Southeast door, must return no earlier than 12:15 and be in 5th hour before the tardy bell rings. Please do not risk an "off-campus violation".
The Lady Senators Track & Field Awards banquet will be held at 6 PM Monday, May 23rd in the commons. If you have not done so already, bring your uniform. If you have not turned in your uniform, you will not receive your awards.
