Attention students & staff: Be A Senator will be selling hot, delicious Papa John's pizza for $2 per slice during both lunch shifts Today in the commons. Pizza, Pizza, Pizza, Today, Today, Today!

SENIORS!! Last chance to purchase a parking pass is today and tomorrow. The remaining spots will be opened up for a Junior Parking lottery. Bring your driver’s license, proof of insurance, vehicle registration, and $50 check or cash to Mrs. Fisher in the main office after the 2:17 dismissal any day this week.

Juniors! You can now sign-up for the parking lottery in the Main office.

Lights, Camera, Action! Underclassmen – tomorrow is picture day! They will be from 7:30 – 1:30 and students will be called down from the classrooms. If you miss your time, you can get it taken at lunch. Senior ID pictures will be Monday, August 29th. WEAR YOUR BEST!

The MANDATORY meeting for freshman wanting to run for Student Council representative or a class officer will be held in the auditorium Today at both lunch shifts or 2:20. Students must attend one of those meetings to pick up a packet, have questions answered and learn the guidelines. If there are questions, please see Miss Maloney in Room 124.

There will be a tailgate tomorrow night at Memorial Stadium in preparation for our first football game. Free hot dogs will be provided. Bring your own drinks and come cheer on the Senators!

Attention Baseball Players not playing a fall sport who want to play in a fall Sunday league: There will be a short meeting to sign up in the cafeteria after school tomorrow. That's after school tomorrow in the cafeteria to sign up for fall baseball if you are not currently out for another sport. See Coach Steinwart in room 166 if you cannot attend but wish to sign up.

Be A Senator has 2 prime parking spots available for 1st quarter! You may buy a ticket for a chance to win one of the spots during both A lunch and B lunch from Mrs. Yoggerst in the commons. Tickets are 25 cents. There is no limit on the number of tickets you may buy. We will have a drawing again for 2nd quarter at the end of 1st quarter.

Any freshman or sophomore student interested in auditioning for a JV pom squad should plan on attending open practice today from 4:00-5:30 in the Annex. This club will perform during the upcoming basketball season. Questions should be directed to Coach Kramer at shsScarletLine@gmail.com.

Discipline assemblies continue today.
2nd period is 11th grade, Boys will report to auditorium and girls to the commons. 3rd period is 12th grade. Again boys to the auditorium and girls in the commons
5th period Thursday will be ALL CACC students in the auditorium.
STUDENTS WILL BE DISMISSED BY THE PA SYSTEM. Teachers - PLEASE WAIT UNTIL STUDENTS ARE DISMISSED OVER THE PA SYSTEM. If you have a class in attendance your presence and help supervising is appreciated. Thank you

The Homecoming Court elections will be held tomorrow during both lunch shifts only in the Commons. Seniors may vote for 8 girls and 8 guys and juniors will vote for 2 girls and 2 guys. Remember- Court Elections - tomorrow- Both Lunch Shifts - Commons - All Juniors and Seniors.

Attention upperclass Freshmen Forward volunteers. If you need NHS hour verification sheets, please stop by room 169 to pick them up. They are in the box right outside Ms. Greco's office.

HEY,YOU!! Do you want to be part of the coolest theater production this semester?? Then audition for the FALL PLAY! Prepare a monologue and come to the choir room next TUESDAY, AUGUST 30 @ 6:00 p.m. SHARP! You can also come WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 31st at the same time. CALLBACKS WILL BE ON THURSDAY, SEPT. 1st at 6:00 p.m. in the choir room. If you have any questions, see DALTON KONNEKER, CARLY PILAND, OR MRS. YOGGERST (ROOM 157)

Attention all Springfield High students! Starting Monday, August 29th, students who receive NO dress code and electronic device referrals for the 1st quarter will receive free pizza and soda after school at the beginning of 2nd quarter. Thank you for being a Senator!

Come out and support your volleyball team tonight against Lanphier! It is a home match with JV starting at 6 and Varsity at 7:30 PM. Rice Krispy treats will be sold for 50 cents with the money going to Breast Cancer awareness. Think Pink.
