You must get a pass from Mrs. Povse or from the Guidance Office to be excused to hear these reps. Passes are not required for the LUNCH visits which take place in the Commons. A complete list of the representative visits is posted in the glass case outside of Guidance as well as on the school website under the GUIDANCE link.

A representative from Making It Count will be making a financial aid presentation entitled Ultimate Money Skills, College Funding, to students and parents on Wednesday, Oct. 5 at 6:30 in the Commons. This will be an introduction to financial aid and the process. It is especially informative for first generation college families or those who are beginning the college process for the first time.
Scholarship opportunity for 9th through 12th grade: Formals of Litchfield is sponsoring a "design an original prom gown" contest. Get information at www.myformals.com or from Mrs. Povse. Deadline is October 22.

TOO GOOD A DEAL TO PASS UP! Tomorrow is your last day to purchase your tickets for a full Avanti's sandwich and or a full Avanti's loaf of bread from a German class or German club student. Teachers and staff can purchase tickets from Robin Yoggerst unless a German student sells to you first. Delivery is Thursday, October 6, during both lunch shifts and after school til 4pm in the Commons. Students interested in attending the Capital Area Education College Fair to meet with representatives from numerous colleges need to pick up a permission slip in the guidance office. The permission form must be signed and returned to the guidance office by 8:30 on Tuesday, October 4th. On October 5th, College Representatives will be available at the Orr Building at the State Fairgrounds from 12:30-2:00. Students are responsible for their own transportation and must sign in upon arrival that day.
Seniors and Early Graduates! Last week in homeroom, you received information about getting your yearbook photo taken. Please call Class Act to schedule your appointment to make sure your picture is in the yearbook! Deadline is December 20th.

A 3G iphone with a black and pink otterbox was lost recently. If anyone has found one or knows of the location of this phone, please contact any administrator or security personnel. There is a reward for its safe return.
PIZZA, PIZZA, PIZZA, TODAY, TODAY, TODAY! Crimestoppers will be selling hot delicious Papa John's pizza during both lunch shifts on Today in the commons for $2 per slice.
The Varsity Soccer team improved to 14-3 with a 5 to 0 victory over Normal U-High. Ben Harbison, Peter Bremhorst, Zabian Morris, and Alan Rivera scored for the Senators. Andy Pedrazza recorded the shut-out. Alan Rivera scored the only goal to lift the JV to a 1-0 victory.
The Girls Golf team placed third at the conference match at piper glen. Leading SHS was Becca Ramirez, 6th overall. Alax Floyd carded a 90, 8th overall. Mackenzie McDermott shot a 95. Kristin Cullen and Rachel Scheffler shot 111's.
