Early dismissal today at 2:17 PM to allow teachers time to prepare for evening Parent/Teacher conferences. No school Friday for all day Parent/Teacher conferences.

You must get a pass from Mrs. Povse or from the Guidance Office to be excused to hear these reps. Passes are not required for the LUNCH visits which take place in the Commons. A complete list of the representative visits is posted in the glass case outside of Guidance as well as on the school website under the GUIDANCE link.
SENIORS: Any senior who plans to apply at Notre Dame should see Mrs. Povse about a scholarship opportunity. You must apply via Early Action to Notre Dame by Nov. 1 to be considered for the Hesburgh-Yusko scholarship.

On November 17 an admissions representative from EIU will be here to conduct a live admissions program. Have your application, essay, transcript, (and letters of recommendation if needed) and your application will be processed on the spot FOR FREE. No application fee! You will be notified of your acceptance that day. See Mrs. Povse for additional details.
The Class of 2014 will be selling delicious Papa John's Breadsticks today! Three breadsticks and sauce will be sold for a low price of $2.00. A limited amount of breadsticks and sauce will be available today on both lunch shifts, so get there as soon as possible!
SITE Club is meeting after school today. Come to talk about robot kits.

National Honor Society and Ebony Gems: There is a volunteer opportunity tomorrow here at SHS babysitting during conferences. Please sign up for a two hour shift. Come to Room 160 to sign up with Ms. Hubbard if you are interested.
Anime Club: Planning Meeting on Monday in Room 160 from 3:30 to 4pm
The Boys Soccer team advanced to the Regional final with a 7 to 0 victory over Lincoln. Alex McHatton, Wil Teichman, Peter Bremhorst, and Zabian Morris scored for the Senators. Andy Pedrazza was in goal for the shutout.
