JUNIORS AND SENIORS: THE FOLLOWING COLLEGES AND UNIVERSITIES WILL HAVE REPRESENTATIVES HERE TO SPEAK WITH YOU ABOUT THEIR SCHOOLS:
Today Northwest Missouri State Lunch
You must get a pass from Mrs. Povse or from the Guidance Office to be excused to hear these reps. Passes are not required for the LUNCH visits which take place in the Commons. A complete list of the representative visits is posted in the glass case outside of Guidance as well as on the school website under the GUIDANCE link.

Seniors interested in applying to Eastern Illinois University for Free:
On November 17 an admissions representative from EIU will be here to conduct a live admissions program. Have your application, essay, transcript, (and letters of recommendation if needed) and your application will be processed on the spot FOR FREE. No application fee! You will be notified of your acceptance that day. See Mrs. Povse for additional details.

Scholarship opportunities for SENIORS: Sikich: $500 renewable scholarship for those entering a career in Accounting. Sangamon Valley MENSA: $300-$1000, essay describing career, vocational or academic goal. See Mrs. Povse for application information.

A representative from Robert Morris University will be available in the Guidance Office on Friday during 1st and 2nd periods. If you would like to visit with him get a pass.

SENIORS: Be advised that the November 1 Priority deadline for the University of Illiniois and other select schools is fast approaching. If you need Mr. Williams to complete any Guidance information please get that to him TODAY!

Read for a Lifetime Participants check with Mrs. Dahmane in the library to make sure she has your name and information. The final list goes to the State Library on Friday.

Would you like something awesome to do this weekend? Then come out and support this year’s Fall Play! There will be 3 one-act plays of differing genres, so there’s something for everyone! Showtimes are this Friday and Saturday at 7 PM and Sunday at 2 PM - October 28 - 30. Call the main office to reserve tickets or purchase at the door. SITE Club is meeting Today, come to talk about robots……also free food!

Join us for a Best Buddies Halloween Party this Friday after school in the commons. Bring $5 for dues. Everyone is invited.

The Cross Country Team competed in the South Central Invite yesterday afternoon at Lincoln Park. In the Girls race, Lauren Smith finished 1st in the race with a time of 20:05 for 3 miles. In the Boys race, Pat Fitzgibbon, Evan VanSandt, and Joe Gough finished 1st, 2nd, & 3rd. Great Job! All JV Runners should turn in their uniforms next week to Coach Devlin.
