On Saturday the Scholastic Bowl team captured their first conference tournament title since 2008 and by doing so earned a share of the conference championship with Chatham Glenwood. Seniors Johnny Smith and Neil Parker were named to the all tournament team. In the key game the Senators never allowed Glenwood to take a lead and cruised in the second half to a 150-point blowout victory.

The SHS Speech and Acting Team competed in the Neuqua Valley High tournament in Naperville against 21 other schools and over 550 competitors. They did an awesome job and we are proud of all of our team members. Onsi Kamel was tournament champ in Poetry written by our very own Mr. Carson. Way to go Speech and Acting Team!
