The Springfield Public Schools Foundation will be hosting a Fall Festival and Book Fair at Barnes and Noble Booksellers on Saturday, October 12 from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Please join Foundation members for a day full of fun including special guest readers, musical performances, "Are You Smarter Than A....." game show and the chance to win a Nook HD! Proceeds from this event will be used to purchase books for school libraries including Springfield High School's library. We hope to see you all there on Saturday, October 12th!

The Springfield High School Cheerleaders will be selling Cheer for a Cure t-shirts & donation cards in the SHS commons during A & B lunches today. All proceeds will be donated to the American Cancer Society. Donation cards will be posted in the SHS commons & at the Cheer for a Cure event Friday, October 18th. See any cheerleader or Coach Povse for more information. Students, staff, parents and fans are encouraged to wear their Cheer for a Cure shirts at the game Friday, October 18th. Please help donate towards cancer research and support programs to help “Cheer for a Cure!”
