Congratulations to the girls swimming team at state this last weekend. The girls had 3 top 12 finishes ... Annah Carney finished 10th in the 200 Free, Camryn Milling finished 10th in the 200 IM, smashing the school record she set at sectionals by 2 seconds in the preliminary round and the 400 free relay team of Libby Opfer, Caitlin Tierney, Camryn Milling and Annah Carney finished 12th in finals. The relay destroyed the school record they set at sectionals by over 2 seconds. It was the first time in at least 7 years that anyone from Springfield has made it to the finals in the state meet .... way to go girls!!
