SENIORS: It is FAFSA time. What does that mean? It means that for you to get FREE money for college or technical school you must fill out the FAFSA document online. Go to FAFSA.GOV, use your last year's tax information and then update it when you/your parents get this year's done. It is important to get this done ASAP if you want to get in line for the free money.

To get your attention and to help you learn what the letters F-A-F-S-A stand for, Mrs. Povse presents this challenge: Write your name on a piece of paper and the words Free Application for Federal Student Aid, of course the meaning of FAFSA. Put that paper in the envelope taped to Mrs. Povse's door Room 153 A). A drawing for $25 cash will be announced on Thursday, Jan. 30.

Males who are applying for FAFSA and who are 18 must also register with the Selective Service System. Go to sss.gov and register.
