The senior class meeting with cap and gown distribution will be Tomorrow during 3rd hour. Students are to report to their 3rd hour, teachers are to take attendance, and students are to wait to be dismissed to the auditorium. All fines and fees will need to be paid prior to students receiving their caps and gowns.
Following the meeting seniors will be able to design a pennant and place it on the map where they will be attending school, military or work next fall.
The class of 2014 has reached $8.7 million in scholarship offers. While this is awesome, the class of 2013 holds the record at $10 million. If you have not yet reported your offers to Mrs. Povse, please do so ASAP.
The Coordinating Council of Frontiers International is offering 2 $250 scholarships due May 19. Must have acceptance at a college or university, write a narrative as to why you wish to be considered for the scholarship, demonstrate school and community involvement and attend an interview on May 29. Application is on the database.
DON’T FORGET SHOWCHOIR AUDITIONS ARE tomorrow with Vocal auditions in choir room, WEDNESDAY are the Dance auditions on stage, and possible CALL-BACKS Thursday, MAY 15TH.

Juniors and Seniors! Prom tickets can be purchased today in the commons on both lunch shifts! Singles tickets are $25 and couples tickets are $35! Tickets will be sold at this price until May 16th, the Friday before prom. At the door, students may only buy singles tickets at a price of $30.
All juniors and seniors are invited to an AWESOME after prom this Saturday, May 17th. Check in from 11:30-12:30 in the annex. No one will be admitted after 12:30 and once you leave, you cannot re-enter. Bags tournament starts at midnight. Winning team gets $50! There will be laser tag in the old gym, a photo booth, a hypnotist and fun inflatable games like Cannonball Blaster, Monster Trikes, Twister, Wrecking Ball and an obstacle course! Food all night long, door prizes drawn every 15 minutes AND Grand Prize drawing of 2 HP 360 laptops with Beats Audio to 1 lucky senior and 1 lucky junior at 2:45. Must be present to win! See you all there!!
On May 22nd and 23rd, the 2014 Capitoline Yearbook will be distributed after school in the Commons. After then, pick up your yearbook in Mrs. Eslahi's room, 254, before school, at lunch, or after school.
Attention German Club! If you are currently a freshman, sophomore, or a junior and would like to be a German Club officer next year, please see a German teacher or come to room 250 to pick up the officer application form. All applications are due on Friday, May 16 at 3:30 p.m. The elections will be held on Friday, May 23.
Attention: Students who have a permit and would like to take behind the wheel this summer must come to Ms. Dvorak in room 128 and sign up ASAP. Also freshmen please turn your permit receipt into Ms. Dvorak before the end of May.
The Boys track and field team sent a small group to the Collinsville Invite on Saturday. Highlights from the meet were the 4x100 relay team of Alex DeLeon, Nick Farley, Vernon Halloway, and Tray Burgess placing 7th, and the 4x800 meter relay team placed 1st and ran the 44th fastest time in the US! Congrats to Heath Warren, Tyler Owens, Patrick Fitzgibbon, and David Sias! The Fresh/Soph team will compete in the Lanphier Fresh/Soph invite on Tuesday, and the Varsity boys will compete in the CS8 track and field meet on Friday at Lanphier!
