Seniors who have met with Mr. Barnes regarding Early Graduation - Please stop by the Guidance office and set up a time to meet with Mr. Barnes to make sure you are on track to graduate early.
Seniors interested in being a Senate Page next semester - Please stop by the Guidance office and and sign up, and grab an information sheet that needs to be completed, signed by parents or guardians, and returned by Friday December 5th.
Senior Portraits, which WILL BE included in this year's yearbook, must be taken at Class Act Photography located 484 South Durkin Drive. Seniors should call them at 787-4947 to make their appointments for the portraits, which cost $15. To be included in this year's yearbook, the portraits must be taken no later than December 12, 2014.
Seniors - To be included in this year’s yearbook, senior baby pictures and the $10 fee must be turned in to Mrs. Eslahi by December 19th.
A reminder that after school tutoring is available in the cafeteria Tuesday and Thursday from 3:30-4:30

Seniors interested in exempting up to 3 of their first semester finals should report to the guidance office and pick up a form. This form must be signed by each teacher and a parent or guardian, and returned to the Guidance Office no later than Thursday, December 11th by 4:00 pm. No Exceptions. Please remember that just getting the form completed, and turning it in does not guarantee that you will be able to exempt the final. You will be notified of your final exemption status either way, by Tuesday, December 16th.
SENIORS: The Lincoln Land Community College Foundation Scholarship packet is now available on the SHS Scholarship Database. Applications for the LLCC Honors Program are within the scholarship packet. All materials are due March 2, 2015. Mrs. Povse has hard copies of the recommendation forms if you need them.

Attention all World Travelers!! It's not too late to sign up for this summer's European Vacation to Germany, Switzerland, and Italy. We will be taking a ten day trip on an excursion of a lifetime. This trip is scheduled from June 9th thru June 18th of this summer (2015). Come to the Capital City Boys Basketball Showcase at the PCCC this Saturday. See all 10 CS-8 conference schools play in the same venue. SHS takes on Glenwood at 3 PM. $5 gets you in to all 8 games played! Games start as early as 9 AM and begin as late as 7:30 PM. Special FREE Kids Area featuring face painting, carnival games, inflatables, and more! Shoot to win a brand new Ford from Bob Ridings in Taylorville at halftime of each Central State Game. 15 contestants will have a chance to win!
Wrestling t-shirts are now available. Short sleeve is $10 and long sleeve is $15. Anyone wanting to view these shirts can see them in the main office or see Coach Berger.
All Boys Soccer players need to return equipment to room 404 and pick up banquet information. The Soccer team will have a short meeting after school Thursday December 4th.
