Our bats are heavy
Home plate is white
Varsity softball got the win
After putting up a fight
The girls played well
And cheering was loud
The softball girls won the game
Making every Senator proud
Congratulations to the Varsity softball girls for the big win yesterday! The Lady Senator Softball team got their first win of the season against Quincy 14-13. Annabelle Hope and Francesca Trigillo led the way with three hits apiece. Ashley Robinson, Elise Caton, Jaclyn Carey, and Alyssa Ervin also had multiple hits to lead the Senators. Annabelle Hope pitched 8 strikeouts and Julia Langfelder hit an over-the-fence home run. We cheered as a team, won as a team, and celebrated as a team. Go team!
