What day was it yesterday? It was GAME DAY! And the JV and Varsity softball teams were both victorious. After rallying from an 0-2 deficit, the varsity girls pulled out the win against Southeast. Even the umpire let all three SHS coaches stick around for the entire game! AnnaBelle Hope brought the heat from the mound. Sophie Burnett drove home the game-winning run. Kerrin Wantland had a wicked double. Frannie Trigillo was an unstoppable beast in centerfield and at the plate. ALL the girls were loud, proud, and amazing team players. Just like Mr. Lightfoot, our softball girls are WINNERS!
