Due to popular demand, the orders for the SHS Spirit Jerseys being sold by the Class of 2018 will be extended to Wednesday, September 30. This is the absolute last day to turn in your order form to Ms. Kontio in guidance, Ms. Davis in room 363, or any class officer. See samples of the spirit wear in the glass case outside the auditorium. Additional order forms may be found in the guidance office. These items are for the entire student body and staff.
You can pick up SMTD bus passes in room 169, before school, after school or during lunch. DO NOT come during class time to pick up bus passes.

Juniors and seniors interested attending the Capital Area Education/Career Fair at the Orr Building on the IL State Fair Grounds on Wednesday, Oct. 7 should stop by the Guidance office or Mr. Kyes' office for a permission slip prior to the deadline, and check in with their assistant principal at the Orr Building. Signed permission slips are due by MONDAY OCTOBER 5TH AT 3:30 PM, NO EXCEPTIONS. Students will be responsible for making up any work missed due to this absence.
Attention all students and staff! The first massacre of the year will be held this Wednesday at 7:30pm in the gym. Everyone come out and play some volleyball, dodgeball, tug-a-war, and pyramid building as your class will be competing against the other classes. You will receive free admission into the girls volleyball home game on Thursday night if you go! You won't want to miss it.
Homecoming tickets can be purchased today in the commons during both lunch shifts. Please see Ms. Troike or Mr. Kramer. Tickets are $15/each or $25/couple and $25 at the door.

Campus Crimestoppers Crime of the Week. Recently, during 1st hour and after school an unknown subject has been taking cellphones from the girl's locker room in the gym. The cellphones have been left unsecured either with their books or in a book bag. If anyone has any information concerning these thefts please contact an administrator with your tip. Your tip could get you up to $100.00. As a reminder please secure your belongings in a locker.
