Seniors - Senior Superlative ballots will be passed out in the Commons Today. Get yours from Emily Brown, Ashley Garcia or Josh Mathiot and return the ballots to them or Mrs. Eslahi in room 254 no later than Monday, October 23.
Seniors get your portrait taken at Grussenmeyer Photography. Call 787-6688 to schedule your appointment. The portrait fee is $15 and if you want your baby picture in this year’s yearbook, bring the picture and $10 to Mrs. Eslahi in room 254.
Seniors- the first college trip has been planned for October 29 to SIU-Edwardsville. There are only 36 seats available. Please see Mr. Kyes for a permission slip- this is first come, first served.
Disney Friends for a Change and partner Free the Children will be bringing the Dream Big Speaking Tour to SHS on Tuesday, October 27, 2015 from 10:00 - 11:00 a.m. (We will have to alter our schedule a bit to make the first 2 hours shorter and 3rd hour longer to accommodate for the speakers that can't change their schedule.) The purpose of this FREE event is to empower our students to leverage their skills, creativity and imagination to create a brighter tomorrow.
Friday, October 23 is the last day of first quarter. Second quarter starts Monday, October 26. Report cards will be distributed October 28 in 5th hour. Parent teacher conferences are Thursday, October 29 from 5-8 pm and Friday, October 30 from 8:15-3:30.
Attention Juniors who signed up for the PSAT/NMSQT test: This is a reminder that the test will be held on Wednesday, October 28th, in rooms 404 & 406. Please report to the testing rooms no later than 7:45 am on Wednesday morning. Do not report to 0 hour class on Wednesday, 10/28. Please bring an approved calculator, two or more sharpened #2 pencils, and a sack lunch with you. You will be asked to turn in your cell phones before the test begins.
If you are late, or absent on Wednesday, this test cannot be made up. Please find the testing rosters posted on the guidance office doors, or in the commons to find out to which room you should report. If you have any questions, please see Mr. Barnes or Mrs. Greco.
