Good morning Springfield High! Today is Thursday, March 10, 2016 where successful Senators follow the classroom and school wide expectations and allow for learning all throughout the building. Thank you for Being A Senator!

Any student who wishes to sign up for an AP exam needs to bring $92 per test to the guidance office and sign up no later than Friday, March 18th. If you have any questions, please see Mr. Barnes.

This week, continue to donate change towards the Me to We Change for Change event. This week, donate nickels to your first hour teacher! Reminder to teachers that the money will be collected at the end of March, not each week. There will also be a mandatory meeting for anyone who wishes to attend We Day. No exceptions!!!

Students interested in being in the work program next year must complete an application. You can get an application (orange form) in the guidance office or from Mrs. Devlin or Mr. Koger.

FREE T-SHIRTS FOR BLOOD DONORS!! Staff & Students 16 or older can donate blood to the Central Illinois Community Blood Center on Tue., Mar 22, from 8:30am-2:00pm, in the Blood Mobile instead of the Auditorium. The Blood Mobile will be parked outside the Commons, so check-in will be in the Commons. Students aged 16 must have a signed parental consent form. You must sign up during lunch-in the Commons, before school or after school-in the Guidance Office by 3:30 pm on Monday, Mar 21. Teachers & Staff do not need to sign up, you can report to the Commons at your convenience. Blood donations SAVE LIVES! Any questions-please see Mr. Williams.

Lit club meeting Friday after school in room 406

Channel 1450 is having a dance off “ The teams included are Glenwood, Jacksonville, Taylorville, Rochester, Riverton, SHG, Lanphier and SHS so be sure to go to Channel 1450’s website and vote for SHS Dance team.

Freshmen boys basketball has a meeting tonight in the commons immediately after school with Coach Reynolds.
