Seniors: Over the Moon Productions is offering a $500 scholarship to seniors who intend to major or minor in an aspect of theater arts. See Mr. Lawson or Mrs. Povse for the application. Deadline is April 30.

This week the library will host a Book Fair. All proceeds will go to support classroom libraries. Stop by and check out the latest titles. See your English teacher to enter a raffle drawing for free books.

Nothing to do Friday? Come to a concert! For a full list of band names or to buy tickets come to the commons at a lunch this week all proceeds benefit equality now.

Attention Senators! You may order your 2010 Be A Senator shirt designed by sophomore Riley Bastin. Stop by the BAS store located outside of room 106 to order yours. Shirts are $10 and must be paid for at the time the order is taken.

Juniors! Do you want discounts for Senior Pictures? Terry Farmer is offering great discounts for pics, so sign up today in the commons.

SENIORS: If you plan to attend college or technical school in the fall and have not yet filed your FAFSA for financial aid know that the Illinois Student Assistance Commission will suspend awards for the MAP grant on Monday, April 19. That means that if you do not file the FAFSA by the end of this week you will lose the chance of getting an Illinois MAP grant.

Attention juniors – if you are interested in Illinois Department of Transportation office jobs and the work program for next school year, please see Mrs. Devlin before school in room 112 asap. IDOT job deadline is soon.

Seniors: Lincoln Land Community College is offering an online College Success Skills course this summer. Some of the skills taught will be successful test-taking strategies, effective textbook reading, note taking skills, time management, critical thinking strategies and many more.

The boys track and field team won the Peoria relays on Saturday. The boys were victorious in the 4x1600, 4x100, 4x800, and the 1600 medley relay. The boys next meet will be the Lanphier invite starting at 11:00 on Saturday at Memorial Stadium.
