Good morning Springfield High! Today is Friday, April 8, 2016 where successful Senators follow the classroom and school wide expectations and allow for learning all throughout the building. Thank you for Being A Senator!

Simone Elkeles (pronounced Elk Less) fans, good news. Simone will be at SHS, today, April 8. She will be available for a book signing and meet and greet 4th period in the Auditorium. Come during your regular lunch hour but remember no food or drink in the auditorium. A huge thanks to Hannah Warren, an SHS grad, for making this visit happen.

Students, You probably noticed the pennants on lockers representing where the seniors are headed in the fall. We are excited to celebrate their hard work for the past 4 years. Seniors- Please see Mr. Kyes if you have made final college plans for your locker pennant! If having your name on the pennant is a problem, please see Mr. Kyes.

Achtung Achtung German Club! We still have a few open spots if you are interested in joining us for our Bowling outing at Strike 'n Spare West on Friday, April 15. Please come and sign up in room 250 with a $5 deposit. Hope to see you there.

Attention boy and girl soccer player's Papa John's fundraisers are due immediately. Turn them in to Coach Phillips ASAP.

Leadership Intern program! Paid Leadership Intern positions are available at: University of Illinois Springfield. Pick up an informational flyer in the main office.

Mark your calendars for the Susan G Komen Race for the Cure on the evening of Friday, May 13. Show your SHS school spirit as we support the participants as they pass Springfield HIgh School. Fireworks at the Capitol after the race.
