All tenth graders are to report to their testing rooms on Today periods 1 – 3. Bring sharpened pencils and a calculator. Teachers do not mark 10th graders absent 1st hour today.

Does your child consistently excel in class? There is a pivotal meeting in Springfield, December 2nd at 6 PM at 801 N Rutledge, you should attend. An Illinois Mathematics and Science Academy representative will be present to discuss another choice at excellence for high school. Meet area IMSA parents who know what providing better educational opportunities for their kids is all about.
Blood Drive on Monday, November 30th, from 9am - 2pm. Students & staff will have an opportunity to donate blood to the Central Illinois Community Blood Center. Students must be 16 or older. Students aged 16 must have a parental consent form signed by a parent or guardian. The sign-up sheet, parental consent form, and information sheet can be found in the Guidance Office. You can sign up during lunch, before school, or after school, and everyone must sign up by 3:30 pm on Wednesday, November 25th. If there are questions, please see Mr. Williams.
Mrs. Povse is looking for students who would like to attend a Pathways to Your Future presentation at Lincoln Land Community College on January 7 from 9:45-12:45. This presentation is geared to career areas that you may be interested in. Stop by Guidance to get a Career Interest Survey and a permission slip. The deadline for sign-up is November 25. Lunch is provided by LLCC.
The next college bus trip is to Eastern Illinois University, Charleston, on December 8. Stop by Guidance to get your permission slip.

Attention Sophomores: Mr. Taylor and Mr. Schurman will be taking the first 60 students to sign up to the CACC open house. This open house is for students interested in attending CACC next year. Permission slips are available in Guidance office. The deadline is today.
On Tuesday, Nov. 24, Josten's will meet with the seniors during periods 2 and 5 to order caps and gowns. The seniors will go to their classes and wait to be called to the auditorium via the intercom. The 5th hour meeting will be for CACC students.
Hello, Hello! There will be a meeting regarding Rally Against Childhood Cancer today after school in Mr. Goff’s room in the science wing.
Student Council is having a winter clothes drive thru Wednesday, November 25. Bring all items to 1st hour and the winning 1st hour class will receive breakfast on December 1st. Items we accept coats, hats, gloves/mittens, shoes, new socks, and scarves. All items must be in good condition to count and all sizes are accepted!
Any senior interested in Susan B Chase scholarship, formerly known as the Bank One scholarship, must attend one of the meetings in the auditorium before school, during lunch or after school Tuesday, November 24. Packets and information will be handed out then. Any questions? See Ms. Maloney.
Students that do not have a zero hour class are reminded that you are not allowed to enter the building before 7:45 AM.

Mrs. Daughtery is still looking for her peach colored wallet. If you find it, please return it to the main office. It is full of mementos that cannot be replaced. There is a $100 reward.
Loose Something???? If you have left your books in the cafeteria, the halls or in the commons-you might find them on "The Bookcase" in the Guidance Office. Every Friday the Books are returned to the teachers classroom. If you have a notebook or anything else missing, it might be in "The White Box" outside of the Guidance Office or in the Attendance Office. At the end of the month the papers and other misc. materials, jackets, hats, etc. will be donated or thrown away.
