Greater Springfield Area Chamber Workplace skills film project is having an open call for auditions Saturday, November 7th starting at 9 AM until noon at Capital Area Career Center. Actors wanted: 4 lead characters and several support actors are needed. Age of characters are high school seniors, acting experience preferred but not required, all participating actors and members of this project are volunteers and will be named in film credits. Upload a resume of acting experience and why you would like to participate in this film project, along with a personal photo to http://chamberjobvideo.ning.com/ or bring them to the audition. The Cross Country team ended their season Saturday at the State Meet. The Girls Team are your state champs! Kirby Hale and Madie Alexander finished 4th and 21st to make All-State honors. Congratulations girls on your great season. The Boys Team brought home a 3rd place trophy. Justin Lee and Michael Simon finished 3rd and 4th place to make All State honors. Congratulations boys on a great season. All Cross Country athletes turn in uniform this week.
Congrats to the winners of the 1st annual Dodge Ball Tourney, freshmen team 13, made up of Connor Jacobs, Josh Buhnerkemper, Ryan Dorr, Ryan High, Logan Gedaminski, and Kory Blankenship. They defeated the senior squad twice to win the title.
